Description: How does the vast labyrinth, the systems and the layers of chemical, muscular and neuronal activity, inform our tiniest interaction?
When we begin to examine the chemistry of emotion, thought and action, does our own scrutiny alter the emotion, the thought or the action? When studying the mind, does the mind study you? …Our task is to construct a play that simultaneously suggests the complexity of human experience while celebrating its elegance and simplicity.

Quote: “Not that the fictional world of any play is perfect or that the characters involved are flawless; in fact drama is fraught with stories of unbalanced people in untenable, critical situations in search of harmony and equilibrium.” (PAJ: A Journal of Performance and Art, Volume 34, Number 1, January 2012 (PAJ 100), MIT Press, p.76)
Thoughts: So is it possible to create a play structured the way the brain functions itself? Will it be a coherent narrative or an abstract experience of neuronal activity translated into what can be presented onstage? If drama needs a “story of an unbalanced person”, what does perfectly balance brain as an organ have to offer it?
